Metropolitan Data Solutions, originally located in Melville, now located in Farmingdale, Long Island, New York, was founded in March 2000 as a sales and service provider of identification solutions for the New York Metropolitan area, including Long Island, the five boroughs of New York City and seven counties north of the city.

We provide a broad range of ID products, turnkey fully integrated solutions and services for a variety of identification applications for education, healthcare, corporate, government and many other markets. Our core competencies include photo ID systems, plastic card embossing systems, smart card/biometric applications, and healthcare solutions (including forms automation, patient ID systems and wristband/labeling solutions).  We also offer a complimentary line of applications which includes mobile computing, tracking, time & attendance and lunch programs.

We offer (24 hour 7 day) service and employ a professional support staff, technical specialists, and instructors to support our customers.
